Great Printer, terrible software! How a big company like HP can have such bad software for using their printers is unbelievable. HP Smart is very slow, troublesome to set up and unnecessarily complex to use, why do I have to login just to scan one piece of paper???? HP Easy Scan is the older software which is much simpler but that crashes a lot on MAC. The Printer is on my local network. HP Smart takes 45 seconds to load, find the printer and only get to the point it asks me to login. My Canon scan software loads in one second and can instantly scan. HP Easy scan loads quickly but often crashes part way though a scan job.
