This Total Performance Power (TPP) can reach up to 205W in our Alienware 16 Area-51. With more power provided to the silicon components, gamers can run their games on the highest settings, making this our most powerful 16" gaming laptop yet.

Intelligent processing

Intel^® Core^™ Ultra HX processors integrate CPU, built-in GPU, and NPU into a single package designed for AI acceleration and balanced performance across your favorite things to do.

CPU: Ensures everything runs smoothly and as expected; like controlling non-player characters, calculating realistic physics, translating a button press into an action, and triggering sound effects at the right time in the game.

NPU: Uses AI with compatible livestreaming software to remove your background thus offloading this performance demand from the CPU or GPU.

iGPU: Delivers graphics rendering capabilities and imagery editing power at home and on the go.

Supercharged data stream

Multitasking for Gamers and Creators: With two SO-DIMM slots designated for DDR5 system memory, Area-51 laptops can support up to 64GB of memory. This amount exceeds the needs of a majority of popular games but can assist gamers who create where multiple applications may need to be ran at the same time such as video editing, streaming, and playing large scale games simultaneously.

Purchase model configurations will vary. Subject to third party purchase of additional memory. Memory is user-replaceable for up to 64GB of dual channel memory.

Storage that keeps up: Area-51 is the first Alienware laptop to support up to Gen 5 SSD storage which is capable of improving read speeds by up to 84% and write speeds by up to 75% over the average performance of various Gen 4 SSDs. Bringing you the latest in storage and performance to run games and work faster than ever before.

Purchase model configurations will vary. Subject to third party purchase of additional storage. SSDs are user-replaceable for up to 12TB of total SSD storage. It's recommended to add a bracket and thermal pad when you add a SSD to upgrade your storage capacity. Configurations with an NVIDIA^®GeForce RTX^™ 5070 or lower only support Gen5 SSDs on SSD slot 2.

Introducing the Cryo-Chamber

Developed by our engineers, Area-51’s new Cryo-Chamber structure, located at the bottom of the laptop, focuses air to the core components where it matters the most. The Cryo-Chamber props up the laptop and introduces a much larger air intake, promoting increased airflow, and features a clear Gorilla Glass panel providing a view of the AlienFX fans.

Gorilla Glass panels on the Cryo-Chamber require a configuration with NVIDIA^® GeForce RTX™ 5070 Ti or higher.

This structure, combined with more copper and bigger fans than ever before, enable a higher power ceiling, up to 205W TPP, without raising acoustics.

Zero hinge innovation

A more robust closure and nearly invisible hinge creates a floating display. Engineered for strength and sophistication this patent pending design drives motion in the radial direction and telescopes out, enabling an adaptive rear design that features translucent materials and new AlienFX lighting.
