I’m a pro photojournalist, and I’m shocked about how wonderful this lens is to use. It’s lighter, sharper, quieter, and faster to focus. It was worth every hard earned penny.

Good picture quality & not too heavy like the 2.8. Easy to work with.

I bought this lens about 9 months ago and have used it extensively with my a7lll to shoot air shows, vacation photos and wildlife. I am an experienced amateur photographer, but have gotten serious about photography after I retired. The lens is compact, not as heavy as my Sony SEL200600G lens and has always focused quickly and quietly for me. I pair it with my SEL24105G for a full range of options when shooting....
