Happy with the purchase, though it could have been better. Excellent performance for the size.The distortion at 24 mm is not easily correctible even with Adobe Lightroom

This lens is a great all purpose walk around lens. This is not a prime lens so don't expect the specs you would get with a prime. I use this on my a7 and it's great, lightweight package. Very well made lens with a beautiful feel when zooming. Not quite as sharp as the 55mm lens. Compared to the f2.8 Canon and Nikon versions of the lens it is noticeably lighter and smaller which is expected since it is an f4 lens.
