I bought this lens last year after acquiring the my A7C. The 20mm f1.8 is outstanding particular for indoor limited light use. I personally dislike using flashes under any circumstances as it proves difficult to adjust (for me) even in post. HI, i bought the lens for my camera. The only problem with this is that the inside of the lens shakes back and forth, so is this a manufacturing problem, or is this just a feature in the lens?

I just took delivery of this lens and have not used it yet so I cannot verify performance. But I am questioning the construction. When I hold the lens horizontally and gently rock it back and forth, I can feel a weight shift from end to end stopping with a gentle thud on each end. It is hard to tell but the distance of travel could be a cm or so. The construction does not feel tight; all my other Sony lenses over the year (about 8) have all felt rock solid.
