Having one lens cover such a distance eliminates changing lenses in the field.

My last zoom lens was a DT 18-250 mm standard zoom, and when fully extended would have some light flare and poor resolution. Good coverage not to heavy good overall lens good for landscape

Love the 24 to 240 range, its the lense I use most all the time. Makes taking pictures in any situation, (close up or far away) easy with out needing to swap lenses or carry and extra body and lense.
