Fabulous headphones

The WM-1000XM4 is replacing my Nokia headset. The unit is very comfortable to wear for long periods. Controls are easy to manipulate. The Headphones Connect app (iOS & Android) customizes the listening experience. It can take into account ambient background noise, switching to chat mode simply by speaking, and even switching listening modes depending on where you are located! All these features can be turned off. The noise canceling feature is one of the best I’ve experienced. You still get that “air pressure” feeling, but it is not as prevalent as many other units. The ability to connect to 2 devices is a great plus! I usually have my phone with me so I use the app to easily switch between my iPhone and laptop. I haven’t used the headset making calls so not sure how I sound on the phone. Overall a fabulous purchase. Warning to those purchasing on Amazon, I purchased a new unit but what I received was a returned unit. It was like-new so didn’t have any real issues, but not happy with Amazon.... Read More  Hide

I spent quite a while comparing the 'XM4s with Bose's 700s and glad I settled on XM4s for two reasons: better music reproduction and better software support (through a mobile device)--Bose's iOS software is spartan whereas Sony's is feature-rich.

Absolutely Love them

I have only owned these headphones for a short time but I absolutely LOVE them. I"m already addicted to them. .lol. To me the music sounds even better than being at a concert. It's all there the bass guitar and drums sound awesome. I love to hear the symbols to and the highs sound just as good as the bass. To talk to someone all you have to do is speak and the music will kick off and you can hear plain as day and when your finished talking they kick right back on. I looked for about two months off and on, reading reviews all over the net and kept coming back to these and I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. I'm very happy I got these and not something else. I'm not into writing reviews but I looked for so long before I made up my mind that I hope this helps someone that is doing the same....
