Great Bose alternative

If you are like me, you're deciding between these 1000XM4's or the Bose 700, and after using both, I can definitely see the appeal in these. Battery life and ANC are stellar in these sets of headphones, and audio quality is great as well! Design is rather subdued, but in a good way. These are comfortable headphones with ample padding without getting too heavy, and a case that makes it smaller to pack than the Bose 700. I wish these Sonys had better audio pickup for phone calls, as it doesn't quite stack up to the 700s. What it does bring to the table is great overall package, specs to beat, and a good price to match. As for the comparisons between this or the Bose 700, you really can't go wrong with either, but it should end up being a design choice and whether or not call pickup quality is value high on your list....
